I started Leaf and Bloom Gardens because I want all my neighbors to feel empowered—to grow their own food, to craft a landscape that puts them at ease. When you step out into your planted spaces, I want you to breathe deeper and the world to slow down. I want your gardens to be magical places.

I tended my first plants decades ago in my mother’s and grandfather’s gardens. Since then, I’ve grown in soil from Maine to Miami, learning gardening from beloved mentors, from hard knocks, and from leading university research. Central Kentucky is my absolute favorite place to garden.
